Four Balls Incentive Spirometer Medical Breathing Exerciser

1. Preparation: Hold the unit in an upright position.
2. Exhalation: Exhale normally, then place your lips tightly around the mouthpiece.
3. Low Flow Rate: Inhale at a rate to raise only the ball in the first chamber. Hold for 3 seconds or as long as possible.
4. High Flow Rate: Inhale at a rate to raise the first and second chamber balls. Ensure the third ball remains at rest during this phase.
5. Recovery: Remove mouthpiece and exhale normally. Relax and breathe normally between repetitions.

Note: Tilting the unit forward can assist patients who find it difficult to raise the balls initially.
